How we handle your data — plainly, and on your terms.
JUMPR ("we," "our," or "us") operates the JUMPR mobile application and related websites (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using JUMPR, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We collect the following information to provide and improve the Service:
To provide the core service. We process your video recordings to analyze shooting form, generate form scores, detect biomechanical issues, and create personalized training drills.
To personalize your experience. Your profile and analysis history help us tailor drills, track progress, and provide coaching through the AI Coach feature.
To improve the service. Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us understand how players use JUMPR so we can improve features, accuracy, and performance.
To communicate with you. We may send push notifications about training reminders, streaks, and important announcements. You can disable these any time in your device settings.
To process payments. Subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information.
Your video recordings are central to how JUMPR works. Here is exactly how we treat them:
Processing. Videos you submit are analyzed by our AI engine to evaluate shooting form, producing a score, detected issues, and an annotated overlay.
Storage. Videos and results are stored securely using Firebase Cloud Storage and Firestore, tied to your account, so you can review your history and track progress.
Access. Only you can access your recordings and results through your account. Our team may review anonymized data solely to improve analysis accuracy.
JUMPR includes an AI Coach powered by a third-party AI provider. When you use it:
Conversation data. Your messages and the AI Coach's responses may be processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate replies, and may be stored to maintain your chat history.
Player context. The AI Coach may reference your form score, detected issues, and progress to give relevant advice. This data is sent to the provider only during active conversations.
No model training on your data. Your conversations are not used to train third-party AI models.
We rely on the following providers to operate JUMPR:
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Videos, analysis results, and profile data remain available to you until you delete them or close your account.
When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and associated content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
Encryption. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using Firebase's built-in encryption.
Authentication. Access to your account is protected by Firebase Authentication with secure session management.
Access controls. Only authorized team members can access backend systems, limited to what is necessary to operate the Service.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Access your data. View your profile, analysis history, and training data in the app at any time.
Delete your account. Request deletion of your account and all associated data through the app's Settings, or by emailing ryx1014@gmail.com. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
Manage notifications. Enable or disable push notifications through your device settings or in the app.
Cancel subscription. Cancel any time through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Data portability. Request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.
JUMPR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

JUMPR is operated from Canada. If you access the Service from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada and in countries where our service providers operate. By using JUMPR, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
